Welcome to Doculify! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Services"), provided by Doculify. By creating an account or using our Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Accounts & Responsibilities

  • Account Creation: You must provide accurate and complete information to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activities that occur under your account.

  • User Roles: Our Services offer two roles: "User" and "Admin". Admins have extended privileges to manage content available on the platform. All users are expected to use the Services in a lawful and respectful manner.

  • Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old to use our Services.

2. User Content & AI Processing

  • Your Documents: You retain full ownership of the documents you upload to your personal library ("User Content"). By uploading, you grant Doculify a limited, non-exclusive license to process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Services to you. This includes storing, analyzing, and using the content to generate AI-powered insights, summaries, and quizzes.

  • AI-Generated Content: The summaries, quiz questions, and chat responses ("AI Content") are generated by an artificial intelligence model. While we strive for accuracy, AI Content may contain errors or inaccuracies. Doculify is not liable for any decisions made based on AI Content. You should independently verify critical information.

  • Prohibited Content: You may not upload any content that is illegal, infringing on intellectual property rights, or violates our content policies. We reserve the right to remove any content and terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

  • Service Tiers: Doculify is offered under various service tiers, including a "Freemium" plan and paid subscription plans ("Student," "Professional," etc.). Each plan has specific limits and features.

  • Billing: For paid plans, you agree to pay all applicable fees. Payments will be billed in advance on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly or annually).

  • Changes & Refunds: We reserve the right to change our prices. All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

4. Intellectual Property

Other than your User Content, all content on the Services, including the software, branding, design, and AI models, are the exclusive property of Doculify and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our property without our express permission.

5. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. You can terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through your account settings.

6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided "AS IS" without any warranties of any kind. Doculify does not guarantee that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted. In no event shall Doculify be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Services.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
